Sabine Ebert-Forbes is the Independent candidate for the Worth Valley by-election to Bradford Council ⚪️
I have lived in the Worth Valley for over 20 years and I am asking for your vote in the Worth Valley by-election on Thursday February 12 2026. It will cost all of us £30,000 which should have been spent on fixing our potholes, funding youth services or our community centres.
Reform UK, however, decided to trigger this by-election, knowing that in May 2026 we will have to do it all again, the Billionaire’s Party wasting our hard earned money. Reform forced it but you’re paying for it!
As a volunteer at the Worth Valley Food Bank for the last six years, I have seen poverty first hand. Most of them are in employment, often with multiple jobs which pay starvation wages. Austerity was a political choice which brought families, children and the elderly into extreme poverty.
I believe that the Worth Valley does not get value for money.
We need to do politics differently:
Pay people decent wages so that food banks become redundant
Invest in education and youth services for our young people
Invest in our NHS so that Airedale can be rebuilt NOW
Bring our utilities back into public ownership to benefit us and not foreign investors
Focus on our community in Worth Valley
The Worth Valley by-election is our opportunity to send a message that we have had enough. Whatever the flavour of politics you usually support, we must send a message loud and clear to ALL of them. They have all failed to represent the wishes and needs of ordinary working people.
The top 1% need to pay their fair share of tax to restore our public services to the levels a first world country like ours CAN afford! Britain is broken. Fairness must be restored.
I will be attending the Together Alliance march in central London to demonstrate my opposition to the far right on March 28 2026 and fully endorse their anti-racist position.
Vote independent to keep out the far right Reform!
